The Runningback

The Running back needs to be very quick and strong and patient. He gets the ball from the quarterback from hand to hand, then the RB has to find a place to run.
He usually has his teammates helping him progress so he has to be patient for the play to develop and when a hole opens up be able to explode into the hole and gain as much yards.
He also helps in protection as a 6th bodyguard for the quarterback.
